DR JENNIFER MELFI
Visiting
Tony Soprano's Grave
10 Years After
XXXVII
In the meanwhile Meadow decided after leaving the hospital to visit their father's grave at the cemetery before the gates closed at dusk.
It was almost the exact time of
day of his death 10 years ago. When Tony Soprano was gunned down in front of
his entire family meeting at Holtstein's Restruant for their signature
onion-rings.
But when Meadow approached her father's grave she discovered an older woman sitting there alone on the marble memorial bench, snobbing.
Meadow steps up closer & the distraught woman lifts her head to find her standing beside her with a questioning & concerned look. "Meadow."
"Do I know you?" Meadow asked as she sat down beside her.
"No. You don't know me, but I know you. My name is Jennifer Melfi, Dr. Melfi. Your father was my patient for his panic-attacks years ago."
Then Jennifer begins crying again with her head in her hands. "I failed your father professionally & personally.
You father frightened me & excited me, both at the same time! Where I had fantasies of being together with him & then I'd have nightmares of him hurting me."
"But I attempted to remain professional while being objective & not allow my own subjectivity to play a role in his theropy.
Although it had an indirect impact on our sessions & our doctor/patient relationship & had a profound effect by my resisting & restrain.
We were never able to create a trusting bond or establish a solid foundation where we could talk sincerely & honestly about life & reality.
Your father couldn't escape his
past & I was frieghtened for his future.
& Here I am still alive in that future & he is laying here dead
in the ground."
Meadow embraces Jennifer side-ways across the bench & holds her frail, shaking body tight. Wiping her stringy, unkept hair from her red flushed cheeks & teary face. Meadow could smell her strong fuming scent alcohol on her shallow breath.
"I remorsefully wonder what would have the future held for us all had I given in to my own personal wants & desires?
Would Tony still be alive today? He didn't need me as a doctor, he needed me to be a strong woman.
& As you now can see I was never that strong person. But then I think maybe I could of been? Maybe Tony would of made me a strong woman as you are sitting here today Meadow?!"
At that moment a young man comes running up to the grave-side & a taxi-cab was leaving before the cemetery closed the gates at dark. "Mother!"
A.J. returns to their ajoining rooms at the Dumbo Hotel NYC with a large pizza for Meadow & Franny.
A.J. & Meadow discussed their days apart after Francesca went to sleep & before Stella returned back from her late shift.
Between A.J. meeting with George Pagilieri at Cafe Napoli's for lunch & Meadow meeting their father's old lawyer Neil Link at his office;
& Then how Meadow met Tony's old theropist Dr. Melfi (& her son, Jason) sobbing her eyes out at their father's grave on his death-date before dusk.
At the same time A.J. & Rhonda were having public-sex together on
the hospital roof while chain-smoking cigarettes & watching the sun-set.
DR JENNIFER MELFI
Grieving
Tony Soprano's Death
10 Years After
Meadow told A.J. that Dr. Melfi's (handsome) son, Jason spoke to her outside the car before driving his distraught & drunken mother home.
Saying, she had to leave her professional practice after a series of nervous break-down's after Tony's murder being haunted by remorse & guilt for failing him.
Blaming herself for his death, as a co-dependant would. Then he added that she relapsed as Tony's death-date approached & the news of her rapist who was being released from prison after serving a lengthy sentence for raping 2 other women after raping her. " Some Jesus Rossi."
At that moment Stella arrived back from working the beat in her police uniform. She stood over A.J. while removing her gun-belt & unbuttoning the front of her tight-fitting, navy blue shirt allowing her deep sweaty clevage to breath.
Before she sat on A.J.'s lap across from
Meadow & reached over for a slice of cold pizza feeling A.J.'s instant arousel
stirring benenth her pressing her buttocks down upon his bulge.
Leaning back into his arms she took a big bite of pizza & kissed A.J. "It appears that you have missed me today?"
Stella winks at him before taking a second bite & kissing him again. "That's what I love about you my "Italian Stallion," your capacity of being, "Instant in Season!"
A.J. reaches his strong arms around her hard body & unhooks
the front clasp of her black "Angel," bra; releasing her voluptious
breast to fall out the front of her unbuttoned shirt in front of Meadow making
her blush & leaving her staring.
"Free
the TATAS!"
"You know how women in uniforms turn me on especially with such big tits!!" A.J. said as he groped her sweaty breast with two large handfuls.
Stella finished the slice of pizza & kissed A.J. before she stood to point out the boner standing in his dress-slacks as she takes the remaining box of cold pizza w/her into their ajoining hotel room.
"Come on Big Boy--I am as wet for you as you are hard for me!"
A.J. smiles at Meadow, "Duty Calls!" He stands awkwardly pushing himself down to kiss Meadow "Good-Night," on the forehead to join Stella who stood top-less in the door-way.
Tossing him her bra
telling him he could help her peel off her tight-ass uniform pants.
A.J. catches her bra & fumbles it in his hands but before he follows her into their room he paused & turns to inform Meadow that he almost forgot to tell her that, "The Bush-Master is dead." (What?)
"Uncle Jr. is dead." (How do you know that?) "Trust me Sis--I know."
"& When Mom calls you tomorrow morning to tell you, since she's his Power of Attorney (Not Janice or Barbara) they will offically inform her first.
Tell her, for me that I want her to come up for the funeral." (She won't.) "Yes she will." (Why?)
"Because I fucking said!--
Tell her we will deposit 10K$ in her bank account for expenses & will make her flight & rental car reservations.
Also tell her to bring Rosale & Kelli Aprile back w/her. We will pay for them too.
I want everyone
who can come, to come. & Those who can't come, I want flowers sent even if
w/blank cards. I want this to be the
last Great Gangland Funeral."
