Downstairs in Hyles Funeral Home kitchen Artie & Charimine catered for 40 people from their  Nuovo Vesuvio Restraunt. 

& "Little Napoli"Restraunt in Hell's Kitchen--NYC also provided for another 40 people.


Glaring side-ways Charimine hissed to her husband  Artie under her wine-baited  breath clutching a big shiny--sharp  knife with white knuckles:

Artie returns the glare answering his prejudice wife --"FINE THEN." as he reached back behind himself to untie & remove his clean white apron to hang it up on a wall hook. Then Artie took his dress jacket out over his arm exiting the kitchen without another word.


A.J. walks his Aunt Janice & Nica out of the office to see Sophia sitting on the oran bench beside Franny. Nica skipped over to sit down on the opposite end of the bench to watch Franny's fingers & hands moving over the organ keys while she was pumping the foot-pedal.

Who is that playing the organ Janice asked A.J."That's Francesca Spatafore." (Vito & Maria's daughter?") "Yes. She will be 21 over Labor Day Weekend.  &She will hopefully be enrolled in a music college before the Fall semesters."

At that moment Artie Bucco walked up to intrupt them asking if he could have a word with A.J.  & In turn Janice excuses herself to leave the two men to themselves.

A.J. walks Artie into the office nodding to Cork to get the door as he asked Artie:"What's Up?!"

"It's Charmaine." (Yea?!) "Yes. It's Charmaine." (OK--You said that. "It's Charmaine. ) "Yes. It's Charmaine. " (&) "And Charmaine has a problen."(She has a problem--What kind of problem?) "How So?!" A.J. asked uncrossing  his arms to dig for his cigarette pack & lighter inside his jacket pocket.

"How So?!--So that she has demanded the those two dark skinned young ladies helping be removed from her kitchen."

"I See." A.J. turns his back to Artie as he exhaled a cloud of smoke over his head saying: "I will take care of it.--Is there anything else then Arthur?" (No.) "GOOD. And everything is prepared for today & the post-funeral dinner at Nuovo Vesuvio Restraunt?!"  (Yes.) "Good Man." A.J. shakes Artie's hand as he opened the office  door for him to leave.

"So? Anthony you will take care of..."

A.J. cuts Arthur off in mid question to ask him:


"SO.  Isn't that what I just fucking said?!"


Artie drops his head & answers:

"Yes. Thank You Anthony. "


A.J. texted Roxanne to come & bring Neesha with her up to the funeral home office immediately.  Roxanne excused herself with Neesha to leave the kitchen & assisting Charmaine to beckon A.J.'s request. The two young ladies shuffled out the door in their high heels & discarding their white aprons & hair-nets.


ROXANNE


Roxanne walks ahead of Neesha into the office past Compagino who was eyeing both of  them up & down as they swooned by. "What's Up T.?!"



NEESHA MONTE


"Nothing." (Nothing?! You texted Immediately!) "Yes I did!" 

"Why? We were pretty busy down there & we just left Charmaine holding the knife!"

"I need you two to do something else for me."

A.J. stood from his chair behind the desk & butted out his cigarette in the heavy over-sized emerald green glass ash-tray. Stepping up in between them he put arm around each of their Necks to escort them towards the office door to explain to them what I needed them to do for him.

"I need you two lovely young ladies to go downstairs to serve drinks & food at the "Secret" card -games going in in the basement! & Yous can insist on tips--Just don't get caught staring at anyone's face or card-hands!--Can you do that for me girls?!"


(Sure T. Anything you say!--Yes Mr A.J.)

"GOOD GIRLS!"


A.J. kissed each of them on the cheek before patting Roxy on the behind saying:


"Now--Go!"
