A.J. leaves Josephine Palmice's house & drove to visit Deanne Pontecorvo before 11AM.
"Anthony Soprano--What can I do for you?!" Deanne sarcastically asked A.J. when she answered the front door-bell.
"Is Robbie Home?!" (Is Robbie Home?!--Why?)
"I want to offer him a job."
"A JOB?--What kind of job?!" (Driver) Deanne half laughes saying: "Good luck with that my Young Soprano--He doesn't have his Driver's License--His Bondsman has it."
Before leaving with Robbie A.J. give Deanne an envelope with 10K$ inside. ("What's This? Charity?)
"No--It's from me. Just take it & dont say another word about it!" A.J. said as the two young men left her standing with a blank look on her face.
A half-hour later & Robbie Pontecorvo entered the Bondsman basement office down a back alley around the corner from the Newark Jailhouse.
"Hey Duck!" The Bondsman peers up sitting behind his desk trying to count money with a box fan blowing. "What do you want?"
I want my Driver's License back--I got a job!"
"You Duck? That's a joke right?!"
"No I'm not joking--I have a Driver's job but I need my license back."
"Well the problem is Duck you don't have it--I do & I need 2500$ first!"
"It's sorta like the Duck & the egg thing--Which came first?!" A.J. questioned.

A.J. puts his hand on Robbie's shoulder & gives him 2500$. "PAY HIM & LETS GO!"
"OH--LOOK AT YOU DUCK!-- Either you found a "Cake-Maker" or a Fool?! Makes little difference to me. You will be back--You always are. As soon as you get paid you go out & get into a drunken fight just like your dead oldman." The Bondman writes out a receipt to hand to him. Then he stands to open a small wall-safe to retrieve Robbie's Driver's license. "Is that what you want Duck?!"
The Bondsman flashes it before flipping it at him--"Catch!"
"Come on Rob let's get out of here A.J. insisted as he felt the rage building inside of himself from tolerating the sweaty ignorant slob.
"Hey Duck tell your whore-mom that I can still drop by to collect for free if she'd like?!"
A.J. stops dead in his tracks as he reached for the door to leave. Slowly turning around to face the Bondsman.
" Take that Back."(WHAT?) "YOU HEARD ME--TAKE IT BACK." (Who the fuck do you think you are Boy?!)
"Anthony Soprano." (Soprano?!) "Take it back What you said about his Mother!"
Laughing & bending over to slap his knees: "FUCK YOU!"
With that A.J. sprang past Robbie & kicks the large man square in the chest backwards banging his head against the wall then A.J. steps aside to slam his face first down against his desk top of blowing bloody money to drop to his knees holding bloody nose & mouth spitting out teeth.
A.J. grabs a fistful of his greasy head of hair to lift his mashed face "NOW--TAKE IT BACK!"
The Bondsman attempted to say something gargling blood & spitting out loose teeth. A.J. looks to Robbie who is white as a sheet in shock of A.J.'s violent reaction. Robbie accepted the mumbling apology by knodding his head.
"OK--So now that we understand each other--I am your new motherfucking boss & you are my Bitch now--SEE?! You will start paying me 10% of your weekly gross. & Duck here? He will be here every Friday to collect it. Knod if you Understand?"
Then A.J. reaches into the Bondmans inside jacket pocket & removes his fat wallet. A.J. takes his Driver's license & all of his cash from it to tell the Bondsman that it will suffice him this week but they'd be back next Friday!
A.J. straightens his suit before they left the groaning Bondsman in a bloody pile on the floor.
