Vito stood outside the empty security guards glass station outside the ER aimlessly staring at the hospital security camera screens monitoring all of the sidewalk entrance ways parking lots & street traffic while the guard is gone making their hourly rounds wearing a leather strap Turn-Key Location Punch Clock.

Vito stood reviewing the prior chain of events leading up to the Empire State Building Drive-by Shooting earlier.

AJ had been in the ER surgery for six plus hours at this point.

Vito stands recalling The Young SopranosBorthers' "Summer of Work" together since that late Spring of 2017.

From Vito Making his Bones--Taking late-night batting practice with AJ. Swinging baseball bats to Revenge Kelli Aprile's Honor. Serving as Fate's Hand.

Then Vito's first day as AJ's Driver when they paid "Little Paulie" Germani a visit whom AJ persuaded to sell his old family farm & sign over the land deed to AJ for 100K$.

Before Little Paulie & his antique WW2 wheel-chair was shoved off the upstairs apartments open door-way's top-step over the threshold & down the steep 50 step staircase to his tumbling crashing death at the bottom landing platform & They AJ & Cork proceeded to torch up the vacant condemned building in black greasy SPAM smoke & flames.

AJ made Compagino shoot the dead man Paulie laying twisted & in a lifelessly pile of flesh & metal with a broken neck wedged between the ground floor door.

Then as AJ orders Vito to "DRIVE." He turns around in the front passenger seat to Undress Cork by rebuking him for his insolence.

"So Compagino, What is your goddamn problem?" Cork didn't answer only tried to peer away.

Then A.J. slaps Vito Jr.'s near thick shoulder, "What do you say Kid? How about we go get a bite to eat?--That smell of burning SPAM has made me hungrey!
We can drop Cork off at the office since I know he isn't hungrey & it will give him a chance to get his shit all in one bag!--
& Maybe count a couple suit-cases of (Benny's) money too?!"

After AJ was satisfied that he had gotten his message across clearly to Compagino he turned & slaps Vito across the shoulder.

AJ said loudly over his shoulder with a glaring grin as he reaches into his jacket pocket to flash a Restruant business card he held between two fingers:

Flipping the card over to look at the name written on the back. "Yes. That's my father's hand-writing. But he isn't here yet. I'm surprised he would want to speak to you." (How So?)

"He normally doesn't waste his time nor breath, for that matter, speaking to younger people my age.

" So if you two fine gentlemen would like to have lunch? I'm certain he will arrive before you finish your meals."

After suggesting the Daily Special & a Wine, Marsha served the two young men salads & each a hearty plate of cheesy, home-made lausanga with breadsticks.

Marsha returned to their table to clear away the dishes & informed A.J. that their meals were "On the House." & Her father, George had arrived & was sitting outdoors on the patio out-back.

Marsha escorted Anthony & Vito through the kitchen & past the storage shelves of jarred pasta sauce to a small green screened back door.

Vito continued his inner self-ccontemplation as he stood alone staring at the flat wall-mounted security camera monitor screens from outside the empty hospital security guards' station.

Vito had been the driver in the "Hit & Run" murder of the drunk truck-driver that killed their Uncle Tom Giglione enroute for Uncle Junior’s "Last Great Gangster Funeral" (When Vito also solely assisted AJ to successfully pull off "The Grand Caper").

Vito was AJ's Driver & accomplice in the Murder/Robbery of Romeo Basale the Carpet-Bagger Bondsman associate of the New York Branch of the Luppitazzi Crime Family.

Vito was present for the murder Jack Black playing the "DEER HUNTER" Game & delivered his dead body to Hyle's Funeral Home for cremation & disposal.

& Vito was present for Salvatore "Coco" Cogliano & Walden Belfiore mock warehouse poker game executions for Gang Raping a Made Man's Daughter/Melissa Barese w/ the late DiMeo Capo Jason Geno Gervasi in Revenging Jason Parisi death by her father "Larry-Boy".

Vito also transported their two corpses in body-bags to Hyle's Funeral Home in East Orange for illegal black-market organ-harvest & cremation.

At that moment Vito peered up at the security camera monitor Screen & sees Tommy Giglione approaching the ER street entrance carrying two of the four pizza boxes.

Tommy dropped two of the pizzas off with Robbie Pontecorvo & Dolan standing sentinels sitting in the hospital parking lot.

"Where the Fuck have you been T-3?!

Those other two other Goons were back here over an hour ago?--Jacking Off?!"

Vito jeers smiling half laughing lighting a cigarette to pat Tommy's back & direct him towards a picnic table in the shade.

"I've been attempting to clean up all your Messes Cousin!" (MY MESSES?!)

"YEA.--YOUR MESSES V!" Tommy casually said looking Vito straight into the eyes as he set the two remaining pizza boxes down on the picnic table opening the one on top saying:

"STILL HOT!" & produces a sweaty cold red can of cola from each of his jacket pockets for them.

"What are you talking about Tommy?!" Vito blindly asked as he reaches for a drippy slice of greasy hot pizza. (I'm fucking starved!)

"That goddamn "Food Poisoning " Bit you used as an excuse for AJ's absence at Yonkers.

That was the same excuse AJ used when my father was in that fatal car-accident enroute to Uncle Junior’s Funeral.

--YOU MAY AS WELL SHOT OFF FUCKING SOS FLARES!" Tommy adds laughing as he waves his hand in front of his open mouth panting after taking a big hot bite.

Vito remained silent listening while remaining focused on eating.

"First my meddling Mother calls demanding to know what's wrong with AJ. (What did you say to her?!)

"I told her "Not Now."

But that wasn't good enough for her--Insisting I tell her." (So?)

"SO.--I TOLD HER. Within the framework of her own self claimed position as the Keeper of the Family Secrets.

But adding that if she dares telling anybody? Everyone will know what an Untrustworthy Mommy's Boy I Am!"

"You told your Mother That?!" Vito peers up between bites. He appears more surprised that Tommy stood up to his mother more then that he told her the secret.

"She fucking Made Me V!--I tried to tell her--NOT NOW."

Tommy goes on to further explain to Vito after that confrontation with Barbara--Bobby "Baleno" calls him then.

All Fuming over being kept out of the Loop about AJ's shooting. Apparently Bobby called Robbie "Apollo" asking him where we all were & Why werent we there in Yonkers. & Bobby made Robbie tell him. (OK?)

"The one good thing is--Bobby had already too many strong mixed drinks to legally drive the bus or a car & He wisely wouldn't jeopardize his Newly awarded CDL.

But Bobby did tell Meadow & Carmela while instructing Patrick Parisi to drive them here from Yonkers while he sombers up."(Alright.)

So I went on to explain exactly what the protocol is & How we were counting on Bobby to keep AJ shooting a secret while keeping the circus away from the hospital until noon tomorrow when we should know more about this fluid & volatile situation." (& Bobby Bought In?!)

"Yea.--I think so V?!--All I know is he isn't happy about it!"

"None of us Are."

Vito said absolute standing wiping his mouth & hands with a napkin.

"Goddamn Tommy! I need that!--I was Hungrey as FUCK!" Vito closes the remaining pizza in the box telling Robbie to give the last whole pizza to the ER Nurse Station while he dropped off the rest of theirs at the security guards' station.

"You did Good Tommy!--No Worries. I was actually hoping for that result to happen."

"WHAT?!"

"YEA.--I knew what I was doing Tom. It was a way of plausible deception to informatively maintain the secret while possibly alerting those in need of knowing."

"Bobby said the "Food Poisoning" line Flew over Carmela’s Tipsy Head but Meadow flagged it immediately but only after the fact of her own absence from the party & a dead cellphone."

(& Did Bobby mention your Mother Aunt Barbara knowing?)

"NO."

"So apparently she's keeping her "Mommy's Boy's" Secret!" Vito laughs slapping Tommy across the back thanking him again for the food as they split off inside the automatic sliding glass ER doors to deliver the remaining warm pizza boxes.

When suddenly all the lights surged & flickered surging again before the Power Flashes off into instant blackness that was immediately reluminated by the low orange glow of the emergency security lights coming on.

Then there's the sense of the hospital auxiliary generators kicking on to repower up the compromised medical facility to a minimal mission power levels to maintain welfare & safety for the patients & faculties during the Power Blackout at 7:05PM Sunday evening.
