"THAT WENT WELL!"
AJ flashed a sheepishly grin when Vito returned to their table with two glasses & a bottle of rum after the earlier "Red Room" Sit-Down with the Pagilieri Crime Family who requested to meet AJ personally before the "Parade of Envelopes" from the other Crime Families paying their Last Respects to the late Retired Mob Boss Father George.
Vito returns the smile as he stood pouring them each a half a glass to "Salute" before Vito took a seat across from his Don brother to Agree:
"It did Go Well."
The two Young Sopranos table was positioned where they could see the Front RED VELVET LOUNGE main entrance & lobby as well as the backdoor-way & the Red Room corridor where the line began to form as the Pagilieri Brothers were recieving callers one by one.
Vito identified the arriving NYC Crime Family Players to AJ that he had the intel acquired from being in the Pagilieri Hells Kitchen orbit during his summer-long conquest of Venus .
Vito admits to AJ that he had been uncomfortable about the earlier encounter with the Pagilieri Brothers.
"WHY'S THAT?!" AJ half laughs--Knowing deeply inhaling his cigarette awaiting Vito's answer flicking the ash in the ruby-red glass ashtray.
"You Know Why AJ!--You don't do Sit-Downs very well!" Vito chuckles taking a drink.
"Well--Let's say you're Right!--I Don't. But that wasnt a Sit-Down. It was an Opportunity!"
"OH--AN OPPORTUNITY?!--I SEE. SO IT WAS A SIT-DOWN!"
"NO IT WASN'T VITO!--OR..."
"OR--YOU WOULD OF BEEN A PRICK?!"
"YES!" AJ admits laughing.
Then AJ Changes the subject:
"You missed out on all the fun last night at BBW BING V!"
"I'm sure I did. Venus was a mess last night before George’s Funeral today. Finally Cleo called Meadow to return & comfort her. I just sat in the corner listening to the Yankee's Game. on the earbuds--What Happen?!"
"OH YOU WONT BELIEVE IT! That fucking Raymond!" (RAYMOND?!)
"YEA--RAYMOND UNDRESSED BIG BOBBY BALENO THERE IN FRONT OF THE WHOLE CREW!" (HE DID--HOW?)
Oh Vito--IT was Beautiful! I just stood back & enjoyed the Show." (So Tell me T--What Happened!)
As AJ was preparing to begin the story by wiping his lips Meadow arrived in all her glory interrupting her two brothers by hugging each of them before taking a seat in between at their table.
"What are you so happy about Muffy?!" AJ asked peering across the table at Vito.
"You know what I'm happy about T!--We're all going to get away together for entire week?! Once it all soaked in after the initial shock? I became Happy! Is that OK with you two?!" Meadow asked before pointing out she needed a glass.
"OH--THATS GREAT SIS!" AJ & Vito both nodding in agreement waving for a watress to bringMeadowa glass to joun them.
"Thank--You Anthony for asking me to come!--Instead of Demanding it!" Meadow smiles as Vito pours her a drink & she digs into AJ's dress-jacket pocket for his red-pack of cigarettes.
"Demanding IT?!--That was Next! If you'd Balked on Us!" AJ laughs outloud while Vito just drops his shaking head with a chuckle.
"WHATEVER!--So what were you talking about before I interrupted you?! I heard something about: "You won't Believe It?!" Meadow asked ignoring AJ's admission puffing on the cigarette as Vito held out his lighter for her.
"I was just getting ready to tell Vito about last night at BBW BING. Raymond went after Big Badass Bobby Baleno in front of everyone there!"
"RAYMOND?--Now that's your Wheelchair Friend with MS?!"
"RIGHT!--SO RAYMOND
Rolls his electric wheelchair up too close to Bobby invading his personal space sitting up high above Raymond on a barstool.
&Raymond says:
"YOU DONT LIKE ME DO YOU BOBBY?!" (WHAT?!) Vito grins as Meadow sits listening with a questioning look.
"What did Bobby say then?" Vito asked attentively listening.
"Bobby says: "You're OK Raymond!" (OH Shit!)
"Raymond took off saying--Well I'm glad to hear I'm fucking OK with you Bobby-Boy!" Sarcastically.
"I thought maybe you had something against Cripples?!" (That's fucking Raymond)
"I Know.--Right?! & He wouldn't Stop!" (NO--He Wouldn't!)
"Bobby is completely caught off guard & assures Raymond that he's "Not Like That!" in defense of Ray's unfounded accusations."
Meadow continues to silently listen to AJ first-hand account of the Men's Closed-Door World.
"Anyway--Raymond says
"GOOD!--LETS ARM WRESTLE THEN! FOR 50$!"
"HOLY SHIT!--WHAT HAPPENED THEN?!" Vito sat straight up to listen.
"Raymond played Bobby-Boy!" (PLAYED?!)
"YES!--& I KNEW IT COMING!" (YOU KNEW WHAT?)
"RAYMOND.--He has Monster Upper-Body Strength from growing up as a handicap without the use of his legs.
The children in his family nicknamed him the "Lizard King" because he could crawl faster the kids his age could run!" ("Ahhh"--Meadow is Moved)
"Raymond told me that growing up he hated being in a wheelchair & He had to be strapped into it. He said if he refused the wheelchair & became violent about it they would put him in a straighjacket & give him seditives as punishment for misbehaving."
("THATS TERRIBLE!") Meadow pretends to cover her ears as a gesture.
"Raymond was setting Bobby up for the Big Fall! Bobby was surprised by Raymond's challenge & Felt like Raymond was Bullshitting him & says:
"Hell Why Only 50$?!--Make it for 100$!"
Just what "Ray--Ray" wanted to hear--accepting the 100$ wager instead as he climbed up out of his wheelchair to stand-up against the high bar across the counter top from Bob with "Apollo" Refereeing. ("APOLLO"?!)
"Robbie Pontecorvo." Vito interject as AJ continues telling the story. (The Guy with the Pussy-Problems?)
AJ & Vito shake their heads together to acknowledge: "YES. " Meadow heard about Rob & his problems through the "Grape-Vine" women'sgossip because it involved their cousin Sophia "SOFI: Baccalieri. Catching Robbiecheatingon Sophia with her older cousin Tara Zancone in the RAT-SKELLAR Bar Restroom.
"& Raymond Lost. He put up a good struggle/show but Bobby easily Wins!
But then Bobby attempts to refuse taking Raymond's Money like he wouldn't take charity from a cripple or something?!" (What Ray do?!)
"He came Completely UnCuntted! Grabbing Bobby by the front of the jacket & threatening to Beat his Fat fucking Ass in front of God & Everybody if Bobby didn't pick up his 100$ Bill!"
Meadow covers her mouth with big eyes giggling.
"That Raymond is "One Crazy Fucker!" Vito laughs.
"AND RAYMOND SAYS:
"I DON'T PLAY THAT DOUBLE OR NOTHING CRAP--REMATCH FOR 300$!" (WHAT?!)
"YEA--WHAT? IS WHAT BOBBY WAS ASKING SMILING."
Bobby should of Know Right Then Something was Up but he further played into Raymond's Hand.
Yet as they locked up Hands & Fist to begin Raymond suggested 500$ under his breath AND Bobby Agrees only to have his vig heavy hand slammed down backwards with one violated motion. The forcecstaggered Bobby--Sending backwards--Slamming up against the wall bent over in Shock as Everyone laughed & Cheer for Raymond!"
"That Goddamn Raymond--Never underestimate that Motherfucker!" Vito laughs slapping the table-top. With Meadow still giggling in chorus. (What Happened Next?!)
"Bobby gathered himself to pay Ray a 500$ Bill before giving him a Bear Hug & assisting him back down into his wheelchair. " (What did you do T?!)
"I just laughed--Waved & left to return to Dumbo before the funeral today & before Meadow's Mystery Girl-friend Ripped me off 5K$ & an 8--Ball of Blow!" AJ said abruptly silencing the other two Siblings momentarily before Meadow struggles to ask him w/a cracking voice:
"WHAT?"
"You heard Me Bing. Your Homeless Ally Friend emptied my pockets & Fled. The Little Bitch."
"OH AJ--I'M SO SORRY!"
Vito stands to excuse himself from the awkward moment seeing Venis & Cleo arriving together from the back-alley entrance.
"YEA?!--IM SORRY TOO!" AJ Glares past her to see Vito reaction as he bows out.
"I will Repay You!" Meadow pleads being embarrassed--Blushing.
"OH--Dont Worry About it Bing-- She isnt the first. Rhiannan use to fleece me on a regular basis!
I should of known better. I was just so tired. I didnt care if she fucked me or not?!
"WHAT?! YOU HAD SEX WITH MY FRIEND AJ?!"
"HONESTLY BING?!--I DONT KNOW IF I DID OR NOT?!" AJ admits cracking a grin across the table at Vito past Meadow insolence glaring stare.
"WHAT HAPPENED ANTHONY?!"
Meadow insisted.
"& Tell Me the Truth AJ!"
"I told you the Truth Meadow earlier this morning before I realized the Little Bitch Ripped Me Off!"
"STOP CALLING HER THAT B-NAME AJ--SHE'S A NICE PERSON?!"
"OH--SO SHE'S A NICE PERSON--BUT SHES A STEALING BITCH IS WHAT YOURE SAYING SIS?!"
"NO AJ--SHE'S SICK--SHE HAS A CONDITION. SHE CANT HELP HERSELF!"
"SHE SURE HELPED HERSELF TO MY SHIT!"
"OK--WEVE ALREADY ESTABLISHED THAT & I WILL REPAY YOU!"
"Just Tell Me What Happened AJ!"
"I told YOU this morning--That "NOTHING HAPPENED!"
"AND I TOLD YOU--I DON'T BELIEVE YOU!"
"LETS JUST DROP IT BING--IT REALLY DOESN'T MATTER NOW--DOES IT?!"
AJ leans over the table to kiss his big sister's near cheek.
"OK--BUT
I AM STILL GOING TO PAY YOU BACK!"
"You Do Whatever You Want Bing!"
"Why do I feel like you're Mocking Me AJ?!"
"Goddamn It Meadow--I'm trying to be Niceto you * You accuse me of Mockery?!" AJ Grins.
"WHY?--ARE YOU GRINNING LIKE THAT ANTHONY?!"
I just remembered something!" (What Now?!)
"When I was telling that Raymond Curto Jr story earlier? I just seen Ray--Ray yesterday morning which now seems like a month ago?" (You Need the Week Away too AJ)
"But Anyway...When I was leaving to come to Hell's Kitchen Raymond asked me to Hook him up with you!"
"REALLY?!--YOUR MS FRIEND IN THE WHEELCHAIR? WHO TOOK BOBBY'S MONEY ARM-WRESTLING? BECAUSE HES SO STRONG?!"
(YEA. THAT RAYMOND!) AJ Chuckles.
"He asked You if He could Go out with me ?!--What did you tell him?!" Meadow asked AJ being half flattered & half interested.
"I told him: "You Never Know Curto?--My sister Meadow has a Thing about Fucking Freaks Like You!"
Meadow takes a Swing at AJ & hits him in the shoulder with all her might.
"OUCH--MEADOW--THAT HURT!" AJ is laughing pretending to hold his arm.
"I Hope It Does!--Goddamn You AJ!
WHAT IS YOUR FUCKING DEAL?! You started in on your SHIT with ME--Disrespectfully I may add back at George's graveside & You haven't stopped?!"
"I KNOW." AJ admits leaning over to give Meadow a second kiss on the cheek again.
(You Know?!)
"Yea. I Know.--& It's Worked!"
