The Accuser continued as he steps through the glass observation wall to stand inside the isolated ICU room & leaning forward to overshadow AJ.

"YOU GET AWAY FROM MY BOY!" Carmela pleads glaring at her own reflection in the glass as AJ laid there alone in the medical induced coma.

"What Do You Want?!"

Carmela snaps.

"YOU KNOW PERFECTLY WELL WHAT I WANT COOZE!--I WANT YOUR GODDAMN SOUL!"

"Dont you already have that?!"

"I only have your Mind & Body--But I Want your Whole Soul not just 2/3's of it."

"SO?!--WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME?!"

"I WANT A SECOND PACT!--WITHOUT RESERVATIONS & YOUR COMPLETE OBEDIENCE!--OR?"

"OR?!"

"YOUR FALLEN DON SON WILL DIE RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW!"

There was a long silent pause before Carmela drops her head to agree to the Devils Offer that she could not refuse:

"I WILL."

"You Will What?!"

"I will forgo the Priest & Exorcism to Serve only You without reservations--If you spare my son's life."

"OH NO.--YOU WILL SERVE ME. But you won't retract your quest for salvation & deliverance."

"What?!--Why?!--I don't Understand."

"You will endure the Exorcism & it will only make you stronger in your evil convictions & You will corrupt your Beloved Father Ozario by using your Mind & Body against him to gain his Soul."

"I Can't Do That!"

The Devil grins bending over to reach the wall plugs.

"OK--OK. I WILL. I WILL DO WHATEVER YOU SAY! JUST STEP AWAY FROM AJ.

"GOOD.--I KNEW YOU WOULD SEE IT MY WAY!"

& The Devil vanished in the thin sterile air leaving only a faint smell of cigar smoke behind leaving Carmela standing alone outside the glass with a single hot tear streaming down her flushed cheek.

"You Will Do What Carmela?!"

She hears Vito ask as he steps up behind her.

"OH VITO--YOU KNOW

I NEVER REALIZED

JUST HOW CLOSELY YOU RESEMBLE

YOUR FATHER?!"

& Carmela hugs Vito & buries her teary face against his strong broad chest as he sheepishly returns an assuring embrace.

"We are all so proud of you Vito for stepping up to protect your brother & shielding us from the outside distractions.

AJ has groomed you well!

You truly are a Second Prince.

If there is anything you want or need from us do not hesitate to ask."

Carmela leans forward to kiss Vito on the cheek.

Vito even smells of Tony in Carmela’s mind as she excuses herself to go find Meadow so they could leave for Dumbo.

Patrick Parisi stood in the dark alley outside backdoor entrance to the unlit Albatross Social Club after 2 o'clock AM.

Patrick paused momentarily to light a cigarette before reaching to check the door-knob to find it locked.

Patrick knocks on the heavy steel door three times with a clutched fist before hearing a voice from inside:

"Go Away--We're Closed. Come Back Tomorrow!"

"OPEN UP ALBERT--ITS PATRICK!"

PATRICK?--PARISI?!--WHAT DO YOUVWANT THIS LATE? WE'RE CLOSED."

"AJ SENT ME!" (AJ SENT YOU?)

Patrick can hear Albert on the other side unlocking the backdoor before cracking it open.

"What is it Patrick?--Its late--I'm trying to Close."

Patrick Repeats Albert: "Its Late--I'm trying to Close"

"AJ sent me--Let me in!"

"Alright--But make it Quick.!"

Patrick repeats what Albert said while closing & locking the door behind them.

"What is it Patrick?--Why did AJ send you here so late?'"

"Aren't you even going to offer me a drink Albert?!--A Belt for the Road?!" (A Belt for the Road?)

Albert steps behind the bar to retrieve an open bottle of rum to pour Patrick a drink.

"So What is this all about Patty-Cakes?!"

"AJ's Been Shot!--& He believes you know who did it?!"

"WHAT?! AJ SHOT? WHEN?--HOW?" Albert appears shocked & unaware.

"I told you Albert--AJ thinks you know Who did it?!" Then Patrick takes a revolver from his inside jacket vest holster to set atop the bar counter in between Albert & himself.

"HOW SHOULD I KNOW?!"

"YOU SHOULD KNOW ALBERT BECAUSE THE DON SAYS YOU SHOULD KNOW!" Patrick downs his drink & slams the empty glass loudly onto the bar asking: "May I have Another?!"

Patrick could see a slight tremble in Albert's unsure hand as he pours with a questioning look to repeat: "I don't know who shot AJ."

"I DONT BELIEVE YOU ALBERT!--AJ told me you'd say that!" & Patrick takes the gun to shoot Albert in the right shoulder knocking him backwards to fall against the wall.

NOW ALBERT--LETS TRY THIS AGAIN FROM THE TOP: WHO SHOT AJ?"

"I TOLD YOU--I DON'T FUCKING KNOW!"

"WRONG ANSWER AGAIN ALBERT!

& Patrick shoots him a second time in the left leg which forced Albert to slide down onto the floor.

"Goddamn you Parisi!--I told you. I don't know!"

Patrick finishes his second drink & pours himself a third drink himself this time as he lifts the pistol off the counter.

"WAIT--YOU DONT HAVE TO KILL ME! I CAN PAY YOU PATRICK!--I CAN PAY YOU WHATEVER YOU WANT?!"

"I CAN PAY YOU WHATEVER YOU WANT?!" Patrick repeats Albert before aiming the gun barrel at him again.

"I HARDLY CAME FOR MONEY ALBERT--I CAME FOR BLOOD--YOUR FUCKING BLOOD!"

"NO--WAIT--DONT SHOOT PATTY--I DONT KNOW WHO SHOT AJ--BUT..." (BUT?!)

"BUT--JERRY BASALE BELIEVES AJ MURDERED HIS COUSIN ROMEO AND..." (AND?!)

"JERRY MAY HAVE DECIDED TO ENACT LEX TALIONIS TO REVENGE ROMEO?!'

"MAY HAVE?!" Patrick finishes his third drink to stand as if to leave.

"I still don't believe you Albert ! I think you are lying! I Think YOU put out the Hit on AJ so you can be the New Family Boss while blaming New York is what I think "Alley-Boy?!"

"NO PATRICK--THATS NOT TRUE!" Albert insisted as Partick squeezes the tigger to shoot Albert in the throat.

"THATS FOR MY DAD!" Patrick said as he reloads the revolver watching Albert's body going into shock & involuntarily shaking as he is clutchs his bleeding neck loudly gasping to catch his bloody breath.

"AND THIS IS FOR MY LITTLE BROTHER JAKE!" Then Patrick unloads the smoking gun fiddling into Albert's chest.

Patrick casually drops the gun to the floor & smashes the glass he was drinking from before taking the remaining rum bottle to leave Albert laying lifelessly on the bloody floor of broken glass.
